PRO -Portable Restroom Operator -
Owner-Manager of a portable
restroom rental company.
Portable Restroom - The housing
for a portable toilet holding tank.
The preferred term describing the
equipment rented by PRO's.
PSAI -Portable Sanitation
Association International. A
non-profit organization serving the
portable sanitation industry
Pumper - A catch-all term
describing one that evacuates
waste from portable toilets and/or
septic tank systems.
Deodorant Cleaner - A preferred
term used by PRO's to describe an
additive that goes into the holding
tank of a portable restroom. The
function is to eliminate odor
causing bacteria offering the user a
more pleasant experience.
Disposal -The preferred term used
by Portable Restroom Operators
referring to the method of dealing
with waste.
Service Technician - The driver of
a portable restroom service vehicle
whose primary responsibility is to
service portable rest rooms.
Route - Generally a pre-defined
mapped out area containing
portable toilets due for service.
